The best days of my life were when I was not allowed to stay up late enough to watch the Washington DC New Years ball drop. Of course I did not know back then, but I was worry free. I thought my parents were mean for not letting me stay up until midnight however I now understand.
The other day, I was going through my closet when I found a picture album from years ago. It was from a family beach trip. I was not allowed to go to the bars with the older people. I did, however, appreciate the water, the sand, and the seashells. The new years eve dc fireworks were beautiful.
The best days on Earth are those spent with family. I spend a lot more time, it seems, on my Washington DC New Years job than with my kids. I know, though, that I must work in order to get us where I want us to be. It is hard to be a young mother. I am growing just as much as they are. The biggest obstacles right now are trying to establish myself during the process of raising them. I hope they realize my struggles and learn from my lessons. I hope they do better for themselves and that their lives are easier and more fun at the same time.
I like to dance, sing, and listen to music. Movies are alright. I am looking forward to going out partying on new year's eve washington d.c. this year. I hope that the person who wants me to go out with them still wants me to go out even if I can not leave my house until late. Love is going to make it alright.
I need to have more faith and trust in the fact that if it is meant to work out with someone, it will. Nothing that is not meant to be will work out, and if it is meant to be, it will find a way. I love love, and I hope to have a perfect kiss at midnight on Washington DC New Years 2012!
